Software4Students as an official partner of Microsoft are able to sell software to students at a much discounted rate and have been doing so since 2005. Its best discounts are not surprisingly on Mircosoft Office, which is particularly useful, as most universities use this suite.
How Much Can I Save On Microsoft Office?
Microsoft Office Standard 2007 is currently just £35.45 from Software4Students, while on Amazon it is £301.48.
If you are a mac user then you will find Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac for just £35.40, while on Amazon it is £329.98.
It is worth noting that the Home and Student editions of Microsoft Office with less features are cheaper than the standard editions on Amazon at £69.98 for windows and £74.98 for the mac version. However, Software4Students prices are still roughly half of these prices and you get the full versions of the software.

You can also purchase the anti-virus software Kaspersky, however I still prefer to use the free anti-virus avast! antivirus. Other software includes Encarta and Notion Music.
