If you want to try and make some money at university but a part time job is not for you, then it is possible to make money from being an online researcher for companies such as Texperts and AQA.
These companies make money by customers texting in random questions and a researcher replies with the answer.
How To Apply
On the Texperts website you can take a quiz called ‘Have you got the Tex-Factor?’ in which you have to get 100% on each round of the quiz in order to have the possibility of working for them. It is very difficult to pass this quiz, shown by the fact that a high proportion of their employees are Oxford and Cambridge graduates. I have recently passed the test and am waiting to here from them.
On the AQA website in order to apply for a job you have to send them an email and they send you an application form and test to complete.
Potential Earnings
You can expect to earn around 30p per text, which means that if you worked full time for one of these companies you could earn around £2000 per month, however this amount is clearly not possible as a student.

I also passed the test but they send me an email saying that they had no vacancies currently, however that they would be recruiting in two months time.
