How To Save Money On Haircuts

Haircuts can be quite expensive these days. However, do not despair, as there are four simple practical ways that will save you money the next time you need a haircut.
1. Go To a Beauty College
At most beauty colleges you can get free or very cheap haircuts cut by apprentice hairdressers. However, there is no need to worry about dodgy cuts as there will be a qualified hairdresser on standby if anything goes wrong. My friend regularly goes to one and has had no problems.
2. Cut Your Own Hair
Cutting your own hair can be a brilliant way to save some money if you do not need a designer cut. You can purchase hair dressing kits from places like argos for as little as £7.99 and then you can get a trusting friend to cut it for you for free.
3. Wait Longer Between Haircuts
If you usually wait 4 weeks between haircuts, why not wait longer (6-8 weeks) and reduce the number of haircuts you need in a year.
4. Student Discounts
Like with every purchase you should look out and ask for student discounts. You may be surprised at the number of places that offer them.
