Although is may not be obvious on the apple website, if you are a UK student you can get a decent student discount when purchasing new apple products online.
How Can I Get The Discount?
You simply visit the apple website through the following link apple student discount and enter the name of your university and the city in which you study.
How Much of A Discount Can I Get?
The discounts vary depending on the product but it is generally around 12-14%.

Is It Worth It?
Although unlike most other computer manufactures apple actually offer a student discount, they are still more expensive than computers of similar spec. However, I really like apple and they are particularly good for art and graphics students.
